Healthy Design
Deborah’s focus on humane and healthy interiors originates from her mission of protecting humans and non humans. Educating her clients about cruelty free (vegan) design is her passion. “I am bringing awareness to clients and professionals in the design industry that no animal need suffer for furniture.” Ultra-luxury and budget interiors can be created without endangering the lives of all living beings. There are endless options for durable, ethical luxury fabrics. Environmentally friendly materials and decor are readily available. Furthermore, these options don’t destroy our planet. Humane decor is less toxic than animal based design. No one should surround themselves with dangerous, poisonous furniture. Nor should they expose themselves to chemicals that could trigger illness and disease.”
Sensory Design
Deborah’s approach to her award-winning design projects is also sensory. She combines specific textures, scents and colors to create optimal wellness/healthy environments for the sensory needs unique to each and every one of us. Benefits range from stress relief and increased optimism, to relieving allergy symptoms and providing a peaceful milieu for those with particular needs, such as children or adults in the spectrum of Autism.
